Dr Mark Friel is Queensland raised and educated with a degree in Electrical Engineering (UQ), Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Griffith University) and Masters of Medicine (Monash).
He is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Completing additional education and training with extended skills in ENT, a Masters in Perioperative Medicine through Monash and the Diploma of Child Health through Sydney University.
Dr Friel joined Currumbin Medical Centre in 2019. He is dedicated to providing a comprehensive approach to primary care including preventative and therapeutic medicine.
He believes in the importance of continuing education to provide high quality medicine and is committed to lifelong learning for patients benefit and his own interest.
